Project Title:

Extended Reality Lab

Installed:

UCLA Architecture + Urban Design Department

The extended reality lab is a usable prototype that utilizes real-time projection mapping and location detection to match the perspective of 3D content to the user's vision.

The two walls and floor act as projection surfaces so that the user can inhabit and interact with any digital world without the need of a cumbersome headset.

This project serves to explore how perspective-tracking and projection mapping can enhance immersive experiences.
Resolume (projection mapping) HTC Vive (perspective tracking) Unity (demo environment modeling, projection content real-time updates)
